Tap the Egg

Terms of Use

The rules for using Tap the Egg. The one-sentence version: tap fairly, with your own finger — no bots or scripts — and pick a nickname you wouldn't mind the whole world seeing.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

1. Who provides the service

The service is provided by Top App, Rynek Główny 28, 31-010 Kraków, Poland, VAT ID PL6762666433. Contact: hello@topapp.pl. By using Tap the Egg you accept these terms.

2. What Tap the Egg is

Tap the Egg is a global tapping game: one shared egg for the whole world and a live counter. When the total number of taps reaches the threshold, the egg cracks and reveals a surprise. Taking part earns you badges (e.g. “Witness of egg #N”), and the longest streaks make it onto the ranking.

You don’t need to sign up — on first launch the app creates an anonymous account with a random nickname (e.g. “Tapper4821”). Signing in with Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) is optional and only keeps your progress when you switch phones.

The app is free. It has no ads, no in-app purchases, and no chat or messaging between users.

3. Surprises inside the eggs

Egg content is loaded from our server and changes from egg to egg. Surprises are meant as entertainment and may include mild crude humor (e.g. a joke gesture). We don’t promise any particular content in future eggs or when they will crack.

4. Fair play

By using the app you agree not to:

  • use bots, scripts, macros, auto-tappers or any other tool that taps for you;
  • get around rate limits, modify the app or its traffic to our server, or otherwise inflate your results artificially;
  • load the service beyond what normal play requires.

Taps are subject to rate limits. Taps we consider cheated may be rejected, reset or removed — together with any results, streaks and badges earned with them. For repeated violations we may restrict or block access to the service.

5. Nicknames

Your nickname is public — it appears in rankings and as the “last tapper” of an egg. It must not be offensive, vulgar or hateful, infringe anyone’s rights, or impersonate another person, a brand, or us. We may rename a nickname that breaks these rules without notice and, for repeated violations, block the account.

6. Availability

The game runs live and needs an internet connection. The service is provided “as is” — we work to keep it running but don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may change the game rules, thresholds, badges and rankings, and may suspend or discontinue the app; we will announce a shutdown in the app in advance.

7. Liability

We are liable for damage caused intentionally and to the extent mandatory law requires — in particular, we do not exclude liability towards consumers where the law doesn’t allow it. Beyond that, we are not liable for lost results, streaks or badges, e.g. due to an outage, deleting your account, or switching phones without signing in.

8. Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tap the Egg. In the European Union, users under 16 may use the app only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

9. Privacy

How we handle data is described in the Tap the Egg Privacy Policy. You can delete your account in the app — see Delete your account.

10. Changes to these terms

We will announce material changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version; if you don’t, you can delete your account in the app.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence. Send complaints to hello@topapp.pl — we reply within 14 days. As a consumer you may also use out-of-court dispute resolution.
